杜拉斯《英国情人》：小说、戏剧与演出版本

玛格丽特·杜拉斯的《英国情人》（L’Amante anglaise）有小说与戏剧两种形态。1967年小说、1968年戏剧，以及后来题为《〈英国情人〉的戏剧》（Le Théâtre de l’Amante anglaise）的版本，不宜混为同一出版物。它们与早先的《塞纳－瓦兹的高架桥》同属围绕阿梅莉·拉比尤案件反复改写的作品系列，而非对司法案卷的原样复制。

1968年12月16日在巴黎夏约宫的演出由克洛德·雷吉执导，玛德莱娜·勒诺饰克莱尔·拉纳，克洛德·多芬饰皮埃尔·拉纳，迈克尔·朗斯代尔饰盘问者。2017年吕塞内尔剧院的制作则由蒂埃里·阿尔库尔执导，朱迪思·马格尔饰克莱尔·拉纳；这两次演出的演员不能合并为同一阵容。

戏剧以盘问者分别同皮埃尔、克莱尔的对话组织行动。确认谁杀了谁，并不等于获得一个足以终结询问的犯罪动机；人物的回答、拒答与问话本身构成作品的戏剧性。因此，阅读时既要区分小说与舞台版本，也要区分真实案件、虚构人物和后来的解释。
